12U Blue are 2012 Finch GOLD Champions
This past weekend the Hurricanes 12U Blue team went to the Jennie Finch Invitational. They seeded 1st out of 30 teams going 3-0 on Saturday and outscoring opponents 44-0.
They played 3 tough teams on Sunday with everyone contributing to go 6-0 for the tournament and to win the championship!
While all the girls played great, Emily Turilli was given the MVP Award for the tournament for her outstanding pitching all weekend and timely hitting on Sunday! Congratulations!
The 12U Blue qualified for PONY Nationals in Cary, NC by taking the 1st seed in a rain shortened PONY NQ the week earlier.
12U Blue was a little excited with the win!
